Bengaluru is a city of vanishing lakes. Too many of the city’s natural reservoirs have given way to high rise buildings and shopping malls. In south Bengaluru the Puttenahalli kere is the only one left in the area to recharge the water table in the vicinity of Brigade Millennium, L & T South City, Ramaiah City and Arekere Mico Layout.
