Indian Mahogany
Common name: Indian Mahogany
Botanical name: Swietenia mahagoni
Indian Mahoganyfound in almost all the parts of India.
It is fast upright tree, that grows up to the height of 30 -40 feet.
It has a broad rounded symmetrical crown of about 20 -30 feet in spread.
The fruit is a large (4-6") greenish-brown woody capsule, splitting into 5 parts releasing flat, long winged, light-brown seeds.
